Engaging the Next Generation of Business Leaders with Junior Achievement
Public Good was honoured to be a guest speaker at Junior Achievement of Central Ontario’s (JACO) Company Program earlier this year. JACO’s Company Program teaches grade 10-12 students how to organize and operate a real business. Volunteers from the local business community work with students to launch and run a small enterprise. Our discussions on branding development and logo design was enthusiastically received - their company, LadderUP! is off to a great start. The students have clearly considered how they present themselves in the marketplace and showed a good understanding of how to communicate and market their products and services online. Good work!
Special thanks to Advisor Larry Chan, partner at Rosenzweig & Company Inc. for inviting us to the evening, Lynn Gonsalves at JACO and to all the students and employees of LadderUP! And a special shout out to LadderUp’s President, Rebecca Guan.
